Together, We Can Do This

Let’s Get to Know Each Other

I'm Justin Krebs and I'm running for City Council because I love bringing people together in joyful ways to get things done.

I have the energy, creativity, and 20-year track record to bring our community together as we tackle some of the toughest challenges we have ever faced. Together we can create a more vibrant city that works for all of us.

This is our home where my wife—a certified nurse midwife and small business owner—and I are living, working and raising our three small kids. I want this to be a city that helps small businesses to thrive, that cultivates joy in our schools, that celebrates our public spaces, that helps our arts, culture, entertainment and nightlife survive this pandemic, and that is a national leader in policies that make a more just and sustainable society. And I believe we can do it—but we can only do it together.

Justin on the Issues

I believe in bold, progressive policies that make this a New York all of us can call home — where we can work and live with dignity, where we can afford to raise families and pursue our dreams, where we all have the opportunity to contribute to our neighborhoods and communities, and where our city can lead the way for our nation.

And we have to do this all while pushing for a bold and equitable recovery that leads with — and funds — our priorities and focuses on those communities hit hardest by COVID and the economic crisis.

Don’t see something that’s on your mind? Just ask.

I always want to listen to and learn from New Yorkers whose experiences and insights can help sharpen our thinking, improve the lives of fellow New Yorkers and strengthen our city.
